Emma joined the Proteus IRC in 2013 as a research assistant. Originally a biologist, she took on a broader role in setting up the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Advanced Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) facility and progressed to become the Translational Operations Manager. She now manages all operations, covering GMP (chemistry labs, sterile fill facility, coordination and planning with the Investigational Supplies Group), biology labs, other lab spaces and general lab management at the Centre for Inflammation Research.
