Marta joined the Proteus IRC in July 2019 when she successfully competed for an open position (collaboratively funded by Next Steps and Heriot-Watt University) as a Research Fellow in Biomedical Signal and Image Processing. Within Proteus Marta applies machine learning to the data collected from the imaging systems. More broadly she focusses on the creation of advanced classification algorithms for diagnosis, prognosis and understanding of different conditions.
