Robert Henderson is a Professor of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh, where he received an ERC advanced grant for his world leading work on Single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) detectors. He has since developed some of the world’s first SPAD detectors in nanometer CMOS technology and is leading SPAD sensor related biomedical, microscopy and quantum imaging projects. He oversees and advises on all research related to the detectors.
