Professor Rory Duncan, a Proteus co-investigator based at Heriot Watt University, has been awarded the Senior Prize for Public Engagement from the Royal Society Edinburgh.
The prize was awarded to Prof Duncan “for his passion and enormously productive advocacy for public engagement in Scotland, the UK and internationally”.
Leading academics and professionals in Scotland have been recognised by the RSE in its 2018 Prize list. Each year the RSE presents a series of Prizes and Medals to individuals who have made an outstanding commitment and contribution to their field of expertise.
The RSE Innovator’s Prize was awarded to Lewis Hou, Founder and Director of the Science Ceilidh, who co-created “The Proteus Jig” back in 2016.
Congratulations to both!
