Proteus are delighted to have been selected to represent UK science at the AAAS Conference 2018, taking place in Austin, Texas, on 17 February.
EPSRC have asked us to represent Proteus’ research specifically through our public engagement, as an embodiment of the kind of science the UK is pushing forward.
Proteus will be a part of the conference’s International Reception, where over 500 VIP guests will be in attendance. The Reception provides the UK with a platform to demonstrate the country’s scientific value to key stakeholders from around the world, as well as the global media.
The Reception will allow us to show our willingness to act as a global collaborator, and provide plenty of opportunities to engage with other attendees.
This is a real privilege for Proteus, and it is a fantastic endorsement of all that the team has achieved.
